BYO SES overview

Our BYO SES connection provides the option to use your existing Amazon SES account with our email flows, instead of using our built-in email provider.

Benefits

• Email accounts, domains, and billing are handled under your existing account
• Use your established sender reputation and IP addresses
• Maintain control over data residency and compliance

Limitations

Email message events within your own Amazon SES account are not natively available to workflows, so engineering work is required to send the events you are interested in tracking from SES to your flows. Documentation that describes these engineering tasks will be provided as part of your onboarding.

As these events are not natively available, the following Sender Profile features are not available to customers using their own Amazon SES account:

• Domain status
• DKIM status
• Mail from address setup
• Sender profile health metrics, including Bounce rate and Spam complaint rate
