Navigate an email sender profile page (Pendula email)
The Pendula email sender profile details page gives you a central place to review your sending configuration, monitor deliverability health, and manage the profile's lifecycle. This article explains how to navigate the page and understand the available options.
Viewing your sender profile
Navigate to the Sender profiles tab and click on any email sender profile from your list to view its detailed information.
Sender profile health
At the top of the page, you’ll find your sender profile’s current health status alongside two critical metrics:
- Bounce rate - percentage of hard bounces over the past 14 days
- Spam complaint rate - percentage of emails marked as spam over the past 14 days
The health status chip indicates your overall sender reputation.
Details
This section displays your sender profile's core configuration:
- Name and description - editable identification fields
- Channel, category and gateway – cannot be changed after creation.
- Sender profile API name – The technical reference which can be used for dynamic sender profile sending. Cannot be changed after creation.
Click Update button to configure editable settings.
Flows using this sender profile
View and manage all flows using this sender profile. By default, Active, Error, and Draining flows are displayed. To view Terminated flows, adjust the filter settings.
Email setup
This section details your email configuration status.
Sender details
Review and edit your sender information:
- Sender name - the display name recipients see in their inbox.
- Sender email address - username can be edited
- Verified sender domain - Cannot be changed after creation.
Email configuration
View and edit settings:
- Reply-to address – Where recipient replies are directed
- ‘Mail-from’ address – The technical sending address used for bounces and errors.
Domain status
Track your domain verification and email authentication (DKIM) status. All items must show Verified before emails can be sent from this profile.
Managing your email sender profile
Deactivate
Temporarily disable a sender profile without losing its configuration. Once deactivated, the profile won't be available to select in the Outbound Email node during flow design.
To temporarily disable a sender profile:
- Terminate all associated flows first
- Click Deactivate sender profile at the bottom of the page and confirm action.
Archive
Archiving hides it from the main sender profile list while preserving the configuration for compliance and record keeping. The profile must be deactivated before it can be archived.
Delete
Permanently remove a sender profile. The profile must be archived before it can be deleted. This action cannot be undone.
