This article shows how to route activity sync data from your Pendula tenant to Microsoft Fabric, by connecting to our Amazon Kinesis data stream.

Prerequisites

• requires an active Pendula activity sync connection to Amazon Kinesis
• requires your Kinesis Access Key ID and Secret access key

How to connect Microsoft Fabric to your Pendula Kinesis data stream

1. Log into your Microsoft Fabric account.
2. In the left menu, select Real-Time.
3. Click Connect data source.
4. Search for Kinesis.
5. Click Connect on the Amazon Kinesis Data Streams tile.
6. Click New connection.
7. Enter the Name of your Kinesis data stream.
8. Enter your Amazon Kinesis Access key ID.
9. Enter your Amazon Kinesis Secret access key.
10. Click Connect.
11. Select the AWS region your Kinesis data stream is located in.
12. Click Next.
13. Review your settings and adjust if necessary, then click Connect.
14. When Fabric has successfully established the connection, click Finish.

Your connection to the Pendula Kinesis data stream is now available to use in your Microsoft Fabric environment.
