How to
Connect your Amazon SES account

Our BYO SES connection provides the option to use your existing Amazon SES account with our email flows, instead of using our built-in email provider.

Add a BYO SES connection

To connect your AWS SES account :

1. Log into your tenant.
2. Select Integrations from the main menu. The integrations page shows:

• Active connections: Applications you have already connected 
• Setup connection: Applications you can connect 

1. Click the BYO SES tile under the Setup connection heading. This opens the page where you can enter the details of your new connection.
2. Enter a Name to identify this connection. An API Name will be generated automatically — this must be unique.
3. Enter an optional Description to make it easier to identify this connection from the list.
4. Enter your Role (ARN) — the Amazon Resource Name of the IAM role your tenant will assume to access your SES account.
5. Enter your External ID — used to securely identify your tenant when assuming the role.
   
   
6. Click Save connection.

Your BYO SES connection is now established and added to your Active connections list. You can now select it when creating a BYO SES sender profile.
