What is Wait for a time period?

The Wait for a time period node holds the experience for a set amount of time, then continues once that duration of time has passed. This is useful for adding delays between actions, such as a pause between communication campaigns or allowing time for a process to complete before proceeding.

Usage scenarios

The Wait for a time period node can be used to pause the flow for a specific amount of time, allowing you to wait for external data or events to occur elsewhere.

For example, after adding a new customer to a CRM, the workflow might wait for a set period (e.g., 10 minutes) to ensure the CRM has fully updated the customer record before retrieving and processing the information for further actions.

Another example, you may want to wait a few days between communications in the same flow.
