Please contact your Customer Success Manager to get access to this node. This is a dedicated feature that is not generally available.

What is wait until a time window?

The wait until a time window node only allows experiences to continue within a specified time range.

If an experience reaches the node outside of the specified time window, it will wait until then, and then progress. This ensures that certain steps in your flow only occur during a specific time period.

Usage scenarios

For instance, a customer service team wants to automate follow-up emails, but only wants them to send during working hours (9:00AM – 5:00PM).

The team can place a Wait until a time window node prior to an Outbound email node, and configure the specified time window to wait for to be 9:00AM - 5:00PM.

If an experience progresses to the node during these specified hours, the experience will continue to the Outbound email node.

If an experience progresses to the node outside these specified hours, the experience will wait until the next business day begins.

Node configuration

Setting the time window

Start time: Choose when the time window should begin.
End time: Select when the time window should close.

The experience will wait until the start time of the window and resume only during the specified time frame.
