You can import and export flows as .flow files.

This makes promoting flows from development to production easy.

Export flow

You can export a flow in two places:

  • On the All flows page, you can find the Export flow icon in the Actions column
  • On the Flow details page, you can find the Export flow button in the More dropdown

Once confirming the flow export and name, a .flow file will be downloaded to your local machine.

.flow files contain the flow design, and any email attachments that may have been uploaded to any email nodes throughout the flow.

Import flow

You can find the Import flow button on the All flows page, above the flows table.

When clicked, you'll be prompted to select a .flow file to import.

Importing can sometimes take a while, depending on the flow (or the size of the attachments) being imported.

After import, you may need to select a connection for nodes that require connections.
