Triggering Flows from Tables in the Experience and Workflow Studio
In the Experience and Workflow Studio, you will find a new trigger in the toolbar: the Data Suite trigger. This trigger allows you to build and send flows from an audience uploaded to CDS.
Using the Data Suite Trigger
- Create a new flow and drag the Data Suite trigger into the first position on the Canvas.
- Select a previously uploaded and set up a table from the CDS from the dropdown.
- To access merge fields from the tables you’ve uploaded, go to the ‘Merge fields’ tab on the manual trigger node configuration, select the ‘CSV’ type, and upload the same CSV file you have selected from the CDS.
Saving and activating
Once your flow is built, saved, and activated, it will trigger experiences immediately.
Depending on the number of rows in your table, the time for experiences to start showing up in history will vary, but it can take up to 5 minutes (with 500,000 rows).
Automatic draining
Once all experiences have been triggered, flows using the Data Suite trigger will automatically be set to drain.
